Hear hear hear! The Official Collingwood 2010 Festival Website is online!

Great news! The

OFFICIAL COLLINGWOOD 2010 FESTIVAL WEBSITE

is now online! Events, information, workshops, talks, exhibitions, links, resources, pictures – 2010 is definitely Admiral Lord Collingwood’s year, and it will be a very busy one. Please help to spread the word; I know that many people have been looking for information about the various events, and now it’s available. Cheers!

This will make my fellow Aubreyad-aficionados in the area happy: On 6 March, you can watch “Master and Commander” at Morpeth Town Hall, 2pm, free admission!

And don’t forget to bookmark the Joyful Molly “spin-off” – “Old Cuddy” blog – all Collingwood, all the time!

Hurrah we finally have details of the main events – see you there! Maybe we should also add our support for the planned Collingwood Memorial on Newcastle Quayside (as mentioned in Newcastle Journal in January). Lets make this the year when the North East finally give Admiral Collingwood the recognition he deserves.

I’d love to be there, but can’t make it, unfortunately. Well, not for the weekend of 6/7 March – but the year’s still long… 😉

Lets make this the year when the North East finally give Admiral Collingwood the recognition he deserves.

      To this I drink!
